Meet Annette, HSEQ Manager
I have worked with Wingnut for the past 12 years I’ve been working as a Health & Safety professional since 2009 (yes, really I know I don’t look it). That’s 16 years of making sure things are done properly and people stay on the right side of the law.
My first Health & Safety role back in 2009, I looked after a street cleansing department. While that kept me busy, I’d always had an interest in the utilities sector, which eventually led me to Wingnut Utilities in 2013.
Since joining Wingnut, I’ve successfully gained all the required external accreditations and spend my days ensuring the company remains compliant with all relevant legislation, essentially making sure any hard earned profit isn’t lost to fines, insurance claims, or unwanted visits from enforcement bodies.
In short, I help keep certain people (you know who you are) out of jail.
Outside of work, I’m kept in line by my two dogs.
I’m a big fan of Sausage, egg and chips, my favourite country is Murcia, and my favourite TV programme is The 1% Club – despite never once managing to answer the question well enough to actually be in the 1%.
